I fished the tree line from my kayak on Tuesday evening. I was using a fly rod and poppers. Where I would normally catch 3-4 dozen bluegills I only caught 1. However, because the gills were not there it gave the bass time to attack the poppers and I caught a dozen largemouth with the biggest going 14".
