The technique my son and I used was something I began using for perch back in the late 90's on ( At That Time) Yuba one of the best lakes in Utah for jumbo perch, it still holds the state record for a perch I believe. They had to drain the water level to do repair on the dam in early 2000's and the perch & walleye fishery never did rebound. The same method also works well at Starvation for perch. I, like you find that there is always something new you can learn, especially when fishing in different areas in the states and Canada.
