Launched at Morgan Creek on the southern end (or at least towards the southern end). The big school we got into was in the same basic place it's been for 2 months. About 30-50 feet out from a cliff on the shore. Fish were mainly suspending at about 15-35 feet right up near the cliff. Sometimes the down look on the sonar would show bottom at 15 feet or less other times it would show water to be about 50 feet deep with fish stacked solid from 15-35 feet.
Fish seemed to have spawned out partially at least. Most are not nearly as golfball shaped in the belly as they were a few weeks ago. Some of the fish were squirting eggs out when taking off the hook but males did not seem to be "active" sexually. Fish did not seem to be up shallow on the bank where I thought they liked to spawn so it is a bit confusing to me. If they have not begun to spawn then I'd have to say it is imminent.
