So I took the brand new pontoon with the verado motor out for the maiden voyage yesterday. That engine is so quiet I can't even hear it. The slowest we could troll was 2.5 miles per hour. We had 15 on the boat so fishing was not the priority on this maiden voyage. However, I did throw out leaded line a couple of times even though the speed was high. We caught rainbows every time we put the lines out. Crazy!! What a great machine. Wow. I did not have time to or space to play with the new Minkota Terrova motor. That will be next at flaming gorge next Monday.
