[font "Comic Sans MS"][#800000]It's your boat and your money, but I've been running regular gas with Seafoam or Startron thru my 2005 Optimax 75 since new. The motor still runs today like it did in 2005 and has about 800 hours on it. Never could figure out why folks insist that regular fuel (with ethanol) will destroy the boat/motor. I have a friend with a Ranger/high performance Yamaha 250 (80 mph) engine that also has been running it with regular gas for at least 10 years with nary a problem. If it's good enough for Mercury (nowhere do they say to not use ethanol), it's good enough for me. But like I said, its your boat and your money - go for it.[/#800000][/font]
