I don't have much info regarding woodhead, but I would assume with the number of crappie on the upper end that woodhead area would be a good bet as well. But, if you fish from spring and down the reservoir from there, it's just about a guarantee that you'll get into them; whether they're active is another story, but they're just about everywhere. I guess It's personal preference on where you decide, yesterday we decided to go to spring because it's about an hour shorter drive from where we live. That being said, I think I enjoy fishing the lower end of the reservoir by woodhead better.
