Basic fishing knots

Turtle Knot, huh? So that's what it's called. I use that knot all the time but I never knew what it was called. [Tongue]

I alwasy use the Turtle knot when tying a swivel to my line. The only difference was that I would tie the loop first, then pinch the end and thread the entire loop through the eye of the hook. Sometimes, especially with thicker line, it's hard to get it to thread through. The way shown in your post looks much easier -- just thread it through first then tie the loop.
