Fishing near Nampa

New to the area and looking for spots near Nampa for trout for me and catfish/panfish for the kids. Ive been to Wilson Creek and ponds but looking for something of more quality than quantity. I have heard of lake Lowell for catfish and panfish but I'm limited to shore fishing and was hoping for some tips or areas to fish since its a large body of water.

Also what are average flows to fish the Boise, or below Swan Falls on the snake.
