I went for it with a few of my CD raps yesterday when they were, once again, ignoring my midges (presented with a fly rod and a spinning rod).
Still skunked, but my only bite of the day came from a CD Rapala in Rainbow Trout pattern. Good to know that flies aren't the only thing they eat this time of year. I think I'll go back next time with more rapalas and waste less time trying to thread 6x tippet through size 22 flies... haha.
