Panfish. What line would you prefer?

I voted for 6 lb mono but a lot of it depends on how clear the water is, recently I was trolling with 12 lb mono on one rod and 15 lb mono on the other rod and picked up a limit of crappie. That was the first time to ever do that, most of the time I'm casting a jig, with or without a bobber and fishing much slower but these big 12 to 13" slaps were chasing down a lipless crank at 1.7 mph[crazy].
