What is your favorite fishing movie??

Both of the Grumpy old men were good. Sadly they told us what we have to look forward to as we grow older. One of the better parts of those movies were that they showed us how important good fishing buddies are and how really hard they are to find. They both provided lots of chuckles and even a lump or two in the old throat. Deaths of father and Ozzy (?) the bait man.



Also like A River Runs Thru It although it was not primarily about fishing. From what I heard it did change the one actors feelings toward fishing and showed him how great of a sport it is. Although they were promoting flyfishing. Which to me is the primier form of fishing. Maybe that is why I am a spinning fisherman first. Baitcaster way down the line. Gotta love those birdnests to be a baiter.
