Bear Lake - Ice fishing

I've wanted to ice fish on bear lake for a few years now, but have always talked myself out of it fearing that I would drive all that way to find out that ice isn't thick enough. Just curious where on the lake can you fish through the ice (Utah or Idaho side). Thanks.
