Hey there guest, welcome to the BFT message boards. I too am a C&R bass fisherman and I also agree. If it is a possible record and needs to be examined, the fish will no longer see water.
They end up doing an autopsy on the fish anyways so the fish will die at all costs. It is unfortunate, but thats the way it goes.
