Big Trip Planning
#21
Hey Lynn that trip sounds wonderful. We got really lucky on our trip and my scout master had moved to Alaska and so he took us on the raft trip, we just paid his float plane fare and he provided the rafts, and food prep stuff. It was great, he really spoiled us. At the time those floats were a couple grand each and the two of us did it for 3-400.00. We also did overnight halibut charters for about $200 each and got two days limits of halibut to take home. It was a very tight budget trip, but we got some of the best experiences. I hope to go back someday and try one of those boat trips that send you out in the boats with GPS points marked and let you go catch your own fish. Got a friend that helps them winterize their cabins each year and I hope one day he gets some friends and family discounts so I could do it. So many fun things to do and so little money in my account to do it. Guess I better get my catfish hooks sharpened as well and learn how to be content with the stuff within my ability.

I sure hope you and the posse' get a great trip up there this year, what a cool thing to do for the family. Maybe you ought stay there most of the summer and give us a chance on the catfish contest. 😉 Thanks Lynn. Later J
