Sorry I didn't want to bore people but maybe like suggested it will answer questions for other people.
I purchased a humminbird compatible fish finder and now I'm looking at the I pilot motor. I see talk about the link, if I buy the I pilot motor and have the finder is there anything else that I need?
Do you just mount the transducer in the normal spot in the rear of the boat?
Do I need a separate battery and/or charger to operate the motor?
Spot lock function work as expected?
