If you are going to do an all day shot, get two batteries and switch at mid day if necessary. [#0000ff][size 1]Having the ability to watch your lure, in real time, is a big advantage in ice fishing. However, for most float tube (pontoon) fishing, the cone angle might not be big enough to pick up the lure unless you fish right between your legs. That could be hazardous.[/size][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][size 1]The increased sensitivity will also help on the readout when you are fishing for species that hug the bottom. Most units do not pick up fish within a foot of the bottom. I often catch bottom hugging fish without seeing anything on the screen of my low end Eagle units.[/size][/#0000ff]
