I'd never had a flasher or fished with anyone with a flasher. Finally broke down and bought one. It seemed on both trips with it, we out fished everyone on the ice with out one. Yesterday, a couple of guys down the lake from me walked up and watched the flasher. Returned to their holes and started picking up a few. Not sure how or I managed to fish through the ice all these years without a flasher. Certainly, won't leave home without it.
