Penn Reel Maintenance
#5
Dave
First I solved the problem. After wandering thru Sears, Ace hardware and a bike shop I bought a Gator Grip socket at Target and popped that bolt right out. I don't usually buy the screaming TV ads but this is one product that seems to live up to the hype.

The bolt is a very odd shape with small semi circle indentations in the outer edge. Tried 12 point sockets in metric and english and none seem to fit. Penn actually makes a tool for this but I've not been able to find one. The Gator Grip did the trick.
Thanx

Bart Waldo
Vista Communications
http://www.vistatel.com
