The largest inshore, shallow water red on my boat for 2001 was 25.5 pounds. Tommy had one two days later that went to exactly 28 pounds. Those are unusually big fish for inshore waters though. A typical "big fish" is in the 14 to 18 pound size and we catch a dozen or so of them each year.<br><br>We are a saltwater fishing guide service located on the coast of South Carolina.
