I've tried three kinds of ice line. The far and away best is Trilene Micro Ice. I have the 4# green one on my reels now. It stays limp, is visible against the ice, and most of all does not seem to gather ice like regular mono. No clogged up tip guides. I don't know how they do that, but it's fabulous.
