BFT Dinner / Catfish Challenge Awards
#56
Hey I thought it was a great get together other than the slow food service, sorry Forest. Really enjoyed being able to visit and talk fishing with every one. So I guess I'm a little selfish because I was sort of glad our numbers were around ten so I could visit with and learn from the masters of the game. By the way you guys that didn't come really missed out. BLK and posse' showed off the new pole and I'm jealous it's really nice. Although we didn't make him spill all of his catfish secrets he sure made an impressive mark this year. And Carson and Bridger it was great to meet you two, you seem like great young men and I can see why your Grandpa loves spending time with you. TD brought his treasure chest of lures and now I'll be sporting a few for future trips, I'm really excited about that. Also got to meet his sweetheart Delores, Tubebabe, tonight and I think he's a lucky guy to have a wife that is really into fishing and knows it inside and out. Fun to share an interest and hobby. Richard it's always nice to visit with you and Forest we need to get over to Bear Lake for those whitefish, I think we'll do even better this year, Forest if you can get off work you should join us. Got to meet Kent tonight for the first time and was glad to make that aquaintence. Sorry I didn't get over to your table SS much as I would have liked to. Rocky it was nice to learn more about you and the books you have written, I should have looked through a couple pages but didn't get a chance. I hear you might know something about NASA. Wish we would have had time to open a conversation on that topic.

Well we also wanted to thank the Logan Sportsmans Warehouse for the $100 in gift certificates awarded tonight. That was really nice of them. As John mentioned BLK really ran away with first prize about 8" ahead of the next closest score. Bridger and Carson tied as the winners of the youth prize. Tyson Galloway had the biggest carp and Jim (Pisco) had the biggest cat over all. Great year and thanks everyone for coming and participating in the contest. Later J
