I do love BBQ but my spouse not so much. She ain't into sauces but enjoys good "dry" 'cue.
I have sampled many of the various regional and local BBQ offerings around the country. I have come to the conclusion that it is like some "other things". It's all good...some better than others.
I ain't no BBQ snob. I enjoy it all...all except some of the radical vinegary stuff in the Carolinas. I especially like the Texas BBQ...with those big beef ribs. Yum.
I have also observed that BBQ is like pizza. The locals swear by what they are used to and cain't abide nothin' from nowhere else.
