We also went to strawberry on the 23rd, fish the meadows. We did quite well on Pearl tube jigs fresh chub. we got 84. That's between two of us, was hot action all day pretty constant. We cast the tube jig out let it sink to the bottom let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes, lift it up and slowly retrieve it back they would always hit it right after you lifted it off the bottom. I think they would see it and watch it on the bottom and then the second you moved it BAM. We also caught up about twenty nice rainbows on PowerBait early in the morning. Then the rainbow just turned it off about 10 1030. It was a good day, my arm got tired of casting and reeling in good size fish. No slot busters. Minowes didn't do as well as the fresh chub.
