I like my Orvis. I like my Sage and Winston rods, too. But Winston did the same thing when I broke the mid section on one of my rods. They sent it back with a mid section that didn't match. I showed it to the rod rep when he was at Western Rivers for a show and he agreed. He took it back and got it replaced with a matching mid section. Maybe it's time to try Loomis.[] I don't have any Loomis rods.
