I just got my repaired Z-Axis back from Sage. I broke the tip section so they replaced it for $60. They offered me a $300 credit for my Z-Axis and an opportunity to upgrade to the ONE for $550. That didn't seem like such a great deal to me. A brand new condition $765 Z-Axis (except for the broken tip) plus $550 for an $850 ONE.
I love the Z-Axis so I opted to have the tip replaced for $60 but when I got my rod back I was less than pleased to see that my pristine rod tube now has a couple of new scratches in it and the tip section blank doesn't quite match the rest of the rod, even though they assured me it was built on a Z-Axis blank.
I've heard great things about how Sage handles their warranty repairs but I can't say I'm completely satisfied.
