I started to go to East Canyon but didn't want to drive over the mountain so I went to the Nell..
Got on the water at 7:00 and the water temps was a nice 57 air was 41..Headed to where I found fish the last time I was up their, found lots of small Perch but no bass..
Started to eliminate water looking for the bass, then I seen some marks on my depth finder and yes they was bass with some perch and trout mixed in..
From 7:00 to 9:00 just looking was making for a long day but then it was an all out mad house, forget two poles in the water at one time. So I would drop one to the bottom and as soon as the ball was closed I had to set the hook then when the fish was in the net the other pole was sent down..Un-hook and grab the other pole and close the ball and set, this went on for about the next 20 to 30 min. then I went looking for the next school of fish..
I worked my way through 4 schools before I had to go at 1:00, not sure how many bass I got but I had 18 that was over 12" with the biggest at 15 1/2" four trout all around 17" to 18" and some perch with the biggest at 10" it ended being a good day after all..
