[#0000FF]They will definitely work. It's the scent that does the job. You can also use the Berkeley corn. It's legal.
Even better is to get small jars of the floating trout worms...in natural worm, white and chartreuse. They are about 2-3 inches long. Cut them into 1/2" to 1" pieces and thread a piece on your jig hook and slide it up inside the tube jigs...with a bit hanging out. It works well for many species.
