What's up with the Lake Lowell LM Bass?

I've only made it out to Lake Lowell 3 times this year but each time the LM bass we've caught have been ridiculously skinny?? They look like they are starving to death. It hasn't just been a couple. We've probably caught 20 those few times we were out and almost every one of them looked horrible. Anybody have any idea on what it going on?
