It could be worse. Calif started charging registration fees for AIS and depending what district runs the lake, inspections & fees are charged at launch sites according to boat length. I keep hearing about the nightmares they are having with this situation. Lake Tahoe is especially terrible with this. It's almost like their asking what's in your wallet? AIS seems to fuel tempers in most places. Most states seem to agree that there is a problem but it goes beyond that with how they react to putting a bandaid on a problem that eventually will contaminate most waters across our country. It's going to hit home with higher culinary & secondary water fees.
