I fished the Gambler free tx today and I have to say it's a well ran tournament and did I say FREE. I started shallow and after a few takers that is where I stayed , fished soft plastics all day and never caught anything deeper than 10 ft. I had a pretty good limit at 10 : 30 but never could get a kicker fish or a cull . I needed to cull a couple times but it just didn't happen so I went to the scales with a little over 13 lbs for the day. I felt good with those considering I have had one of the worst spring results fishing this year and the weather was very nice too.. emoSun emoUSA
