Yeah, all three of my girls caught bluegill as their first fish. It's fun for fast action. If you surveyed them though, I think all three would say ice fishing for trout is their favorite.
When we built the house, I put a utility sink in the garage. I found an old laundry room counter and installed it in the garage too. It has proven very useful, not just for cleaning fish/game, but for washing muddy garden hands and greasy hands after DIY mechanic-ing. Sure makes the wife happy that fish smell, deer blood and engine grease stay out if the house! Happy wife, happy life
