Went to Woodhead yesterday. Tried hard for crappie or bluegill, but they just wouldn't bite. Tried various jigs, depths, baits, locations. Even tried trolling a small Rapala through some schools. Didn't see anybody else catching either.
Tried for bads and picked up some small guys. Very hit and miss. In one shallow cove I caught them as fast as I could cast, but no keepers. My dad hooked a 5lb cat on a jig, but he broke off when we tried to lift him up.
