So much for a dialog with you. You attack with name calling and call my intelligence into question! Thanks for the respect and civility. I HAVE read the law!!! I am done with you Troll.
I knew better than to inject my opinion on this issue here. I fully realize this is a fishing website and as both a sportsman and a rancher, I felt there may be room for all of our concerns on stream access. I was wrong.
There is room for your concerns. I think you are just finding that most don't agree with your concerns, nor have you really stated that many concerns. You keep saying that it will affect you and ranchers but you never really say how.
If your cow attacks someone, you are going to be liable. Same as if you have a dog that goes ballistic on someone at the local park. You choose to have the cow and therefore, choose to take the liability that comes with it.
As far as your helicoptering into a swimming pool. Really man, really? Its a man made structure, filled with water that the owner paid for. I think that one is self explanatory on whether or not its public water.
I get it. My family owns some land and I grew up pheasant hunting it all the time. We had to kick people off the land all the time and its annoying. The
thing is that it was a small town and most of the people we kicked off, we knew them personally. I understand the hassles of owning land that people think is public.
What I do not see is how allowing people to put their waders on and walk down a river is going to be devastating to your ability to run your cows or how it going to have this massive affect on ranchers. Honestly, if your concerned with your ranch and others ranches, give up this battle and start figuring out how to keep wolves out of your state.
