I was intending to hit Blacksmith Fork today but my other plans in Logan fell through. So I decided to hit the Green. Midges were all over in the air when I arrived and the trout were feeding on them aggressively. As soon as the midges seemed to die down, they never fully went away, the BWO's were out. Dry fly fishing all day. I lost count of how many fish I caught. I don't think a single one was smaller than 18 inches until I caught a couple dinky 12 inch rainbows at the end. All of those browns fought like hell too. What a great day. Maybe my best day of fishing ever. I never even moved from the first hole that I fished. You know the rule, "Never leave feeding fish to find feeding fish." [fishin]
