This is a map that I sent to the sheriff's office this morning. We saw his empty boat at around 8 am in the circled area.
After I read the bit about the planer board and remote to the trolling motor floating in the water, I suspect he got about a mile southwest of the north marina and fell in while he was working with his planers or trolling motor.
Too bad we didn't see him or hear him. We were about a 100 yards away. We just figured it was a broke down boat or the guy was laying down.
After reading about what the shock of the cold water does to you, he may have fallen in and never came up.
