Person Missing at Willard Bay

I have to wonder if setting the planer board in motion had something to do with his disappearance, were ther two and the second wasn't in the water yet? Normally you'd motor up after the bouys and head to your location, power down, set the electric in motion, drop the planer while moving to keep it running straight and moving out away from the boat while holding the rope, then when running true hook the end to a cleat. This is truely heart felt as I know his brother well. Skeet
