Yes his GPS was on and that's why they're focusing the bulk of their search in a small area.

Now here's the kicker and punch in the guts for me. I know Matt personally. He was one of the members of the Friends of Willard Bay group. I sat next to this man for the last couple of years. This man had a true love for Willard Bay so I guess if this is the end it seems fitting. Damn!
