On / Off Switch for toon motor
#4
[#0000FF]I have been using the Bigfoot switch on the electric motors for my tubes for several years. Only about $20 and easy to rig. Just cut into the black wire on your motor and splice in the two wires of the switch on either end of the cut. Waterproofing with good shrink tubing or tape helps prevent problems.

I like these switches because they allow just pushing the button to start the motor for short moves. Or you can pull the lever into lock position for longer moves or trolling. When a fish hits you just flip the lever over and the motor stops. You just gotta be careful you don't mount the switch where you can rest your elbow on it...'cause it will scare the stuff outta ya when the motor suddenly kicks in when you're not expecting it.

You can find them at Bass Proshops or Amazon.
