Just a note, Garmin owns Lowrance now. You will see a lot of similarities between the Garmin and Lowrance units. Don't believe they have decided which name will be their top of the line yet. One bad thing has been the change in Lowrance service. It used to be you could call and talk with a tech, send in a unit and get it repaired and back in less than a week. They would also send you small parts . No more, you send in a unit, AND if it is still a "current" model, then send you a replacement, otherwise you are out of luck. Really sucks if you have an older non-current model.
