Parking may be a real concern next week for the perch tournament. Most parking lots eerie full today. The ice on the south end is a solid 6 inches. I ventured out from mackanaw and the ice was 5 inches at 20 feet of water and only 3 sketchy inches of ice at 80 feet of water. I would guess 300-500 people out on the ice today. But both the fishing and the weather was great today.
If you think you can take a sled or a 4-wheeler on the ice, please be careful. I don't think the ice is ready for vehicles, espically on the North end of the lake and I would hate the hear of someone going through.
