I am with you. The biggest fly I use is a #4 streamer and have caught many over the two foot mark. The biggest catch was on a #12 woolly bugger.
That picture of the Sculpins is awesome. I was told many years ago the Cutts and Hybrids did not make a meal out of baby trout, Brookies on the other hand.....
The Cutts were bugs, snails, leeches, but the Sculpin make a lot of sense. They will hit larger lures. I just do better with smaller.
