Hey there guys,
The California DFG has authorized Boat Limits as opposed to individual iimits, for both private boat and sportfishing/party-boat anglers.
This means that someone can continue fishing until the fish count has grown to where the total of fish on the boat equals everybody having legal limits. Possesion limits are still in force.
This is not good for the fishery but captains will be the ones that can deal with this. They can simply pull off a spot when a reasonable number of fish have been caught or go to spots that hold less fish!
What do you think?
Oregon and Washington already have had these policys in force.
