I have noticed this year especially that when there is noise where we have been fishing that the fish move away. Yesterday am and my boy were by ourselves and got 8-9. He had more fun looking down the hole and seeing the fish about 7 feet down in 10 fow. He counted 50 from 12 until 4 and only 3 takers. He said one was 25-28" and a lot bigger than my 20"er. They would look and move on when I watched them. Only one was dead sticked and active jigging with the bite at the end of the drop. Lift up and they would be there. Twice they got it as I'd dropped to the bottom after rebating . And twice moved the line sideways and minimal movement on the spring bobbers.
