My Dad and I fished it Friday morning from 6:30 until 1:00, on the West side of the lake. We ended up with 11. We caught 9 of those in the first 30 minutes of light. White paddle bug with Meal worm seemed to be the favorite. The frustrating part of the trip was there was a couple of guys fishing about 15 feet from us, and one of them was catching fish non stop all morning. He must have landed 30+ fish and lost at least two that were hogs, over five pounds for sure. He caught almost all of them out of just two holes, one hole he had plain hook with worm, the other a white jig with meal worm. His holes were the same depth as ours, he just had the hot holes I suppose. And he was even out fishing his partner about 4 to 1. Fun trip over all, hopefully get up there a couple more times and the ice holds during the warm spell they are forecasting.
