yes it dose my friend , your friend has a different view than i do . although i don't bait for myself i do recognise the importance of it as a deer population controll method that is allowed by our states department of agriculture and allowed and enforced by our D.N.R.
the tree stand issue is primarily for the saftey of other hunters who would otherwise be shot by another hunter surcoming to buck fever . our death rate from accidental shootings have dropped dramitacly , however treestand accidents have risen since the ban on screw on treestand attachments .
a childhood friend of mine is now paralised from such an accident , his saftey strap slipped sending him to the ground and breaking his back .
there will always be two sides of the coin , being able to talk about them brings new perspective to us both , keep up the great posting my friend .
