I'm looking to build a spinning rod out of a 9', 5-6 pc fly rod blank for a far casting micro light pack rod I can use in California for perch and silvers in the surf. I'm looking to put on braid ready guides, cork handle with Graphite seat able to accommodate a 1000-2000 size reel, maybe 17mm And get a durable case for travel.
