Polo -- as stated 6 inches of slush. There wasn't slush everywhere, but in some areas, between the slush, and breaking through a thin layer of ice on top -- it was tough walking. I have used my underwater light twice. Both times were at Strawberry -- once in the summer and this trip. Both times it seemed to attract fish, but I was disappointed at how quickly it ran down my small 12 volt battery that I use with my fishfinder.
