The sturgeon above Shoshone falls are still white sturgeon and they are treated like ours here below Shoshone falls but. They are not native and that might be the reason that the power company can get away with it without fines. To the OP, the rules are rules. Taking a sturgeon out of the water even to save it is not legal. Placing it in another spot even if it is the same water to save it's life, is also not looked highly on. While I would have felt like I was sucker punched in the gut seeing that poor little guy I am not sure I would have done it,,, in print. [Wink]
