Yea lots of boils or there still. I was running into them constantly from as shallow as 2ft up to 35ft in the backs of those coves.
Toadie, did you catch the shad from the lake that you were using for bait? I've been having a lot of success using Spro bbz shad lures fishing the boils but I'd like to try out live bait, see if I can hook me one of those 8-10lb catfish!
What size were the striper you were catching? I was fishing during the week in August and it seemed I was constantly catching 2-3lbers out of the boils but this last weekend I didn't catch anything over a pound. they were all tiny! I was using a 6" lure and the fish were not much bigger than the lure this lady weekend for me.
