Yes the gate is open and it was plowed all the way down to the water at one time. It didn't look like it had been done in a few days though. We pulled down to the port-o-john (about 60 yards from the end of the road.

Anthony- I don't know if drove down to the Rock Cliff area or not, but there is ice there and I would have total confidence fishing it out as far as I walked (100 yards). I didn't have a working auger to check it by the time I got out there though. I'm planning on getting up there next week. I'd put money on it being fishable.
